First I want to understand what the solution has to do for your business. I ask about processes and numbers, not about button colours.
You get a solution proposal, scope, price and deadline. In writing and up front, so there are no surprises halfway through.
I work iteratively and show progress continuously. You can correct course long before a change becomes expensive.
Production deployment, monitoring, documentation and training. I hand over a working product, not an archive of source code.
Launch is not the end. With most clients I keep working for years - the site evolves as the company and its needs evolve.

My name is Radek Štumbauer and I am a full-stack product engineer based in Ostrava, Czechia. I build custom presentation and company websites, information systems and bespoke applications, I host and maintain websites, and I connect them to third-party systems such as payment gateways, accounting systems and product feeds.
The price always depends on scope, so I do not publish flat rates - for bespoke development, numbers without context would be misleading. After an initial consultation, which is free and non-binding, you receive a written proposal with scope, price and deadline. Smaller presentation websites are typically in the tens of thousands of CZK, custom information systems in the hundreds of thousands.
A presentation website usually takes three to six weeks. A larger company website with integrations typically takes two to three months. A custom information system depends on scope and generally starts at three months. You receive an exact deadline in the proposal before work begins.
On the backend PHP with Symfony and Go, on the frontend React and TypeScript. For databases I use PostgreSQL, MySQL and a MariaDB cluster. I also work with Elasticsearch for search, Redis for caching, RabbitMQ for asynchronous processing, and Docker with CI/CD pipelines for deployment.
Yes. Hosting runs on my own infrastructure and includes uptime monitoring, regular backups and security updates. With most clients the collaboration continues for years after launch - the site keeps evolving as the company's needs change.
Yes, that is a common situation. I start with an audit - I review the code, infrastructure and dependencies and write up the state of the project, what needs fixing immediately and what can wait. Only then do we decide whether to build on the existing foundation or rewrite parts of it.
Most collaboration happens remotely - by e-mail, video call and through a shared project tool where you can see the status of every task. Distance is therefore not a factor and I work with clients across the whole country. I lived and worked in Prague for fifteen years and today I am based between Ostrava and Opava. I am happy to meet in person here in the region, and for larger projects that call for it I will gladly travel to Prague as well.
GEO, or Generative Engine Optimization, means structuring content so generative search engines - ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude or Google AI Overviews - can read and cite it correctly. Where classic SEO targets a position in a list of links, GEO targets being named directly in the answer. In practice it comes down to structured data, unambiguous factual statements and content that makes sense out of context. I do both, because customers now search both ways.
